Lunch in Beantown

It’s lunchtime in Boston and the streets are filled with professional bustling to neighboring buildings for lunch. Luckily, we are staying at the Hilton Downtown-Faneuil Hall Boston Hotel and there is a restaurant downstairs called 89 Broad Street. Clever it’s also the address. This is our second visit to 89 Broad Street we came for lunch yesterday and had a very delectable prosciutto and fig pizza. Untitled design (3)Today we were in the mood for something light since we’d be visiting the bar where everybody knows your name later that evening. We order the tomato basil bisque with grilled gruyere and the turkey sandwich on cranberry bread. No kidding we’re probably going to collectively gain about 50 lbs with all the culinary delights that Boston has to offer. Eating the turkey on grilled cranberry bread is comparable to eating a lighter version of a Monte Cristo sandwich. It had the prefect combinations of sweet and salty with a hint tart. It was sweet perfection.

Until next time, happy eating!
