If you are anything like we are then you should be up to try anything at least once. We know a lot of people don’t eat fast food and we totally understand. We on the other hand will eat it in moderation and enjoy trying new products and have a special place in our heart for Taco Bell. We know it is’t real Mexican food and we don’t go there expecting to get a Mexican food fix. We go there because we want Taco Bell Tacos, Chalupas, Nachos Bell Grande, Doritos Locos Tacos, and other things like that. Anyhow, since the leaks on social media and the commercials on tv we have been anticipating (actually counting down days) until the Naked Chicken Chalupa’s release. We finally got one today!

I have to add this side note, I have a biased opinion because Chalupas are my absolute FAVORITE Taco Bell menu item. So on behalf on myfoodieduty if you hate the Naked Chicken Chalupa, we apologize that I steered you wrong.

You’re probably wondering how a Chalupa can get any better, right? Well guess what it can and it did! The Naked Chicken Chalupa is probably the greatest thing since sliced bread. We got experimental (because that’s what we do) and we added jalapeños to one and it was superb! We added chicken to another one, I know chicken inside of chicken genius! NO! We were so wrong, it was weird and wasn’t at all what we expected.  All in all the Naked Chicken Chalupa gets a big double thumbs up from us here at myfoodieduty. If you like Taco Bell or you like fast food you should definitely give this a try. Hopefully this is one of those things that Taco Bell will decide to keep on the menu long after this promotion.
